How to write it, step by step
- Join the letters without lifting your pencil: l, o, v and e.
- Watch the high joins (ov and ve): after b, o, v or w, the next letter starts at the midline, not the baseline.

Tips for each letter
- l
- Making the loop so thin it disappears, so l looks like a tall i without a dot. Keep the loop open.
- o
- Dropping the ending to the baseline. Cursive o ends high, so the next letter starts from the midline.
- v
- Dropping the ending to the baseline. v ends high, at the midline.
- e
- Making the loop too big, so e looks like l. The loop stays below the midline.
